Paul Nuttall, the UKIP leader has certainly had a successful 2016. Nuttall, who started playing for Leicester City in January 2016, took them all the way to Wembley and on to win the FA cup with Nuttalls scoring all the goals.

A sportsman and a scholar

2017 is looking equally as bright for the UKIP poster boy as Paul was recently awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to historical literature. The Nobel Peace Prize was created by a Swedish industrialist Alfred Nobel in 1895. The prize is awarded for achievements in the fields of Chemistry, Physics, Physiology or Medicine, and Literature. Paul Nuttall received his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo last week. After the ceremony, an emotional Nuttall spoke about how pleased he was for his achievements to be finally recognised and glad the previous controversy regarding his academic status can be finally put to bed.
